The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on Oct. 22 announced its hosting of K-Expo France 2024 from Oct. 26-30 at Brongniart Palace in Paris.

K-Expo supports the export of promising products and services from related sectors like Korean content, agricultural and marine products, and consumer goods and services. This year marks the expo's third anniversary and first hosting in Europe, following its previous editions in Vietnam and Thailand.

From Oct. 26-27, 13 exhibitions and interactive booths will highlight Korean beauty, lifestyle, fashion and K-pop. K-food Hall will feature ramyeon (instant noodles), simple sauces, gim (dried laver), tuna and fish sausages, while the K-beauty and Lifestyle Hall will focus on aesthetics and consumer goods popular in Korea.

A fashion show and a fan meeting with actor Park Sung-hoon are also scheduled. Minhyuk from the K-pop boy band Monsta X will also hold a fan meeting and later join a joint performance with the dance team Hook.

K-Lounge on the venue's second floor will host events like a random play dance and quiz on K-drama soundtracks. A makeshift photo booth will also be set up.

From Oct. 29-30, 90 Korean content and related industry companies and 70 foreign buyers will attend a business-to-business export consultation. Buyers from European states including France, the U.K., Italy and Spain will get individual sessions with Korean companies and take part in exchange events.

K-Book Exhibition Hall will feature about 100 types of Korean books, literature and web novels, as well as host Q&As with Korean writers. To mark the historic Nobel Prize in Literature won by author Han Kang, five of her novels will be featured including "The White Book" and "I Do Not Bid Farewell."

After the Paris event, K-Expo will move to Jakarta, Indonesia, to run from Nov. 14-17.
