Mixed doubles stars Shin Yu-bin and Lim Jonghoon have clinched their first victory of the year at the World Table Tennis' (WTT) Star Contender Chennai 2025 in Chennai, India.

Showing great teamwork, the duo on March 30 beat Japan's Maharu Yoshimura and Satsuki Odo in straight sets (11-8, 11-5, 11-4) in the mixed doubles final.

The Korean pair played a close first set but dominated the second and third.

This was Shin and Lim's first WTT victory this year since they earned the bronze medal at the Paris Summer Olympics in July last year.
