• On April 24th at 10 AM, a memorial ceremony will be held at the Commonwealth monument in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province. Following the ceremony, memorial services will take place at each nation’s monument.
• 6 Korean War veterans and 15 family members from 4 Commonwealth countries currently revisiting Korea, including a Canadian veteran who fought in the Battle of Gapyeong will join the ceremony.
• Vice Minister Hee-wan Lee stated, "We will never forget to repay the sacrifices and dedication of our heroes and make concerted efforts to ensure that the history of their service acts as a bridge connecting South Korea with the UN Sending States."
