The Public Human Resource Database (PHRDB) was introduced to ensure fairness and objectiveness in the public human resource management.

The PHRDB contains an individual's personal career history and background information relevant in appointment and other personnel management. Senior civil servants of Korean government and experts in the private sector are covered in the database. It is carefully managed and constantly updated in order to support well-judged and accountable (therefore reasonable) appointments through providing the most up-to-date information to related agencies.

The PHRDB seeks to eradicate all deep-rooted malicious personnel practices such as nepotism based on educational link, regional origin or gender etc.. Also PHRDB promotes active exchange of human resources between the public and the private sector, which ensures that the most suitable talent in a position be recruited.

If you would like to work as a public personnel or contribute to the government as a form of an advisory committee member for government poligies, please register your information to the Public Human Resource Database (PHRDB).

For your information, the database is for usage as a pool of human resources when it is necessary to look for the well-qualified person for a specific field, not just to be recommended right after the registration.

The information can be provided by one of the following ways
□ Direct registration in the PHRDB menu of the Civil Service Commission homepage(www.csc.go.kr)

□ After download and filling out the registration form from the PHRDB menu then send back by email or fax
