Independece Movement Leader, ChongLoe Kang-hoon Lee , previous Head of Kwangbok Society had passed away at 12th because of his chronic disease. Launched independence movement against Japan and since 1988, held the position of Head of Kwangbok Society for 10th and 11th for 5 years, and vice head of the Overseas Korean Residents in Japan, hewaspronounced of Rectal Cancer at June 2003. While he was struggling against the disease at the Seoul Hospital for Patriots & Veterans Affairs. As the disease was getting worse, he passed away at 2nd 8:50 am. His bereaved family members are his wife Mrs. Byungwhan Lee(58) and his son, Mr. Seungjae (30). At his funeral service, previous president Daejung Kim and around 300 notables representing various social circles had participated at the Hospital for Patriots & Veterans Affairs on 16th and his remains buried at the patriot graveyard in the National Cemetery.
